KHAIRPUR: Five members of a family drowned in Seehar canal near Ubauro on Thursday. According to details, a family of Rahim Yar Khan was going to Karachi after celebrated Eid ul Azha, and when they reached near Kamo Shaheed their car fell into the canal due to over speed. Resultantly, five members of the family drowned but the villagers rescued elder of the family Riaz Ahmed Arain. They also found the dead body of his daughter Aisha Riaz Arain, aged seven. Riaz Ahmed told the area police that the dead bodies of his wife and two children have not found yet. According to Kamo Shaheed police the cause of the accident was over speed.
